JFT Central Kitchen: Full or Part time Chef / Cook Position

Due to business expansion, we are looking for someone with experience in filleting fish who can immediately contribute to our team.  

 

Position:

Chef / Cook (Full or Part-Time)  

 

Hours:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (2–3 days per week, Monday to Friday)  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primarily filleting fish
  • General kitchen duties

 

Required Skills:

  • Experienced in expertly filleting fish, including preparation and precise slicing for sashimi and sushi toppings.
  • Able to work cooperatively with team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Able to maintain and sharpen knives independently
  • Ablet to work longer than 1 year
  • Able to commute to Rowville, located about 1 hour by public transport or 30-40 minutes by car from Melbourne CBD
