Job Title:
Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver (Casual)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role supports daily warehouse operations and customer deliveries, requiring strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently.
Hours:
Approximately 25–35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, store, pick, and pack goods accurately
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organised warehouse
- Assist with stock checks as directed
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift license preferred, not essential)
- Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers and represent the company positively
- Report delivery issues or customer feedback to the Warehouse Manager
Requirements:
- Valid Australian driver’s license (essential)
- Forklift license (preferred but not required)
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience (preferred)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy items
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Full working rights in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa with unlimited work rights)
Working Conditions:
- Casual role: 25–35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday only (no weekend work)
- Physical role involving heavy lifting, driving, and some freezer workCasual position: 20–25 hours per week.
