We are currently looking for enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Team Members to join our bistro kitchen in Burleigh Heads.

Pay
Pay is in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 (MA000058).
From $32.18+ per hour (depending on classification)
Superannuation
Penalty rates apply for weekends, public holidays and applicable shifts
What You’ll Be Doing
Your duties may include:
Food preparation
Cooking during service
Plating dishes
Dishwashing
General kitchen cleaning and organisation
Working closely with the team to deliver quality service during busy periods
About the Role
This is a great opportunity if you:
Already have kitchen experience
Are studying Commercial Cookery and want real industry experience
Want to improve your English while working in a professional Australian kitchen
Want to learn how a busy club/pub kitchen operates
Please note that English is the primary language used in the kitchen, so you’ll need to be comfortable communicating with the team throughout your shift.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
Available to commit for at least 9 months
Reliable and punctual
Confident communicating in English in a busy kitchen
A team player who supports others and works well under pressure
Able to take initiative and stay organised during service
Flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential. We also welcome motivated applicants who are eager to learn and have a positive attitude.
