We are a fast-growing and popular ramen shop seeking an experienced and passionate Ramen Sous Chef to join our team. As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our dishes and the smooth operation of the kitchen. We practice a supportive team culture where all our staff are high performers who take pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient sourcing
Overseeing the preparation of all ramen dishes, sauces, and garnishes
Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
Training and supervising kitchen staff
Assisting with kitchen operations and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and flavors
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Strong leadership and communication skills
Food safety certification preferred
