Client Details:

Our client is seeking a Japanese Speaking Chef/Sou Chef for their popular restaurant based near Rockhampton.

The ideal candidate will have an experience as Japanese cuisine chef/sou chef.

Description:

The key responsibilities and duties:

·       Cook various Japanese dishes

·       Control and direct the food preparation process

·       Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times

·       Monitor stock and place orders

·       Control food quality

·       Plan menus and estimate food and costs in consultation

·       Supervises and coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.

·       Any other duties as requested

Profile: In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:

·       Experience in preparing Japanese cuisine

·       Understanding of food safety standards

·       An ability to work in a team environment
