With over a decade of experience, we focus on delivering safe, welcoming, and culturally immersive experiences for students from around the world.
We are expanding our network and support capabilities in Japan to better engage with education agents, institutions, students, and host families. This role will be instrumental in building our brand presence and operational support in Japan.
Role Overview
The Country Representative will act as the local ambassador and business development lead for OZiHouse Group in Japan. You will be responsible for growing our agent and school partnerships, coordinating student recruitment, and supporting homestay and study tour programs. This role requires a proactive communicator, culturally fluent in both Japanese and Australian education contexts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with Japanese education agents, high schools, language schools, and universities.
Develop B2B strategies to promote OZiHouse’s homestay, co-living, and group programs.
Identify new opportunities for growth, including under-18 products and guardianship services.
2. Marketing & Brand Representation
Represent the OZiHouse Group at industry events, fairs, and networking functions in Japan.
Localize marketing materials and communicate our brand values effectively in Japanese.
Coordinate with our Melbourne team on digital campaigns and promotional efforts.
3. Student & Program Support
Support outbound student inquiries and act as a liaison between families, agents, and our Australia-based team.
Provide on-the-ground pre-departure support, orientation sessions, and parent information as needed.
Assist in the planning and recruitment for Japanese study tours visiting Australia.
4. Administration & Reporting
Maintain CRM records of partnerships, communications, and leads.
Provide regular progress reports, market updates, and competitor insights.
Support translation and documentation when required.
Requirements
Essential:
Based in Japan with strong English and native-level Japanese proficiency.
Experience in international education, student mobility, or accommodation services.
Strong network within the Japanese education sector (agents, schools, etc.).
Confident communicator, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong cultural understanding of both Japanese and Australian business environments.
Preferred:
Previous experience working with Australian institutions or accommodation providers.
Understanding of compliance and welfare requirements for under-18 students.
Ability to occasionally travel domestically or internationally (if needed).
