The much-loved pop-up store “The PREMIUM MALT’S HOUSE” is making its annual return to Darling Quarter, Sydney, bringing with it the full-bodied aroma of malt, a hint of sweetness, and the deep, luxurious flavor of Suntory The Premium Malt’s. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich appeal of one of Japan’s most popular premium beers.
The venue, ICHOUME Izakaya, will once again be hosting the pop-up and offering exclusive food pairings created especially for the event. The chefs at ICHOUME have crafted a special menu designed to perfectly complement the featured beers, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
What’s new this year? For the first time ever in the Southern Hemisphere, the much-anticipated “Kaoru Ale” (Fragrant Ale)—a favorite in Japan—will be available exclusively at ICHOUME. Fresh kegs will be rotated daily, ensuring that each pour is served in peak condition.
The event will run from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, August 17, and will feature six distinctive brews:
- The Premium Malt’s
- The Premium Malt’s Black
- Half & Half
- Kamiawa Miruko (Superb Foam Mirko)
- Sunset Style
- Kaoru Ale (NEW!)
Whether you’re a fan of dark beer, half-and-half blends, foam-only pours, or looking to try something new from Japan’s innovative beer scene, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed.
Additionally, 11 top restaurants across Sydney will join the campaign as official satellite partners, offering their own exclusive menus and special deals, such as the Premium Set (one Premium Malt’s + one specialty dish).
