Food and beverage attendant grade 1

• Hourly Rate: $24.10 + SUPER
• Saturday Rate: $30.13 + SUPER
• Sunday Rate: $$36.15 + SUPER
• Public Holidays Rate: $$54.23 + SUPER

*Note 

During the initial three-month probationary period, employees will be compensated at the Introductory level pay rate. Following this period, the pay rate will automatically upgrade to Level 1. For employees working as gelato makers, those with extensive relevant industry experience and who can provide positive reference checks, and who demonstrate excellent communication skills without any barriers, may negotiate their salary based on their work experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Drink Maker to join our team at Odaya Tea. The ideal candidate will have experience in beverage preparation and a strong interest in tea culture.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages and necessary tea snacks like ice cream, adhering to Odaya Tea’s recipes.
– Ensure all beverages are accurately made and delivered to customers promptly.
– Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
– Manage inventory and supplies needed for daily operations.
– Interact with customers, providing recommendations and responding to inquiries with enthusiasm.

Requirements:

– Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or tea house.
– Familiarity with different types of tea and brewing methods.
– Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
– Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
– Must hold a long-term work visa or relevant work authorization in Australia.
– Must be able to work for a minimum of 6 months.
– Availability to work weekends is essential.
