Hello, we are Gwangjang market, preparing for our opening in Sunnybank on 5th October. We are a retro-style Korean restaurant specialising in charcoal grill BBQ, meals, and Korean pub menus, and we are looking for kitchen staff to join our team.

Application Requirements.

• All visa holders who are eligible to work
• Preference will be given to those with experience as a restaurant chef, cook, or kitchen hand (However, we also welcome those who are eager to learn, even without experience.)

Compensation

• Legal hourly wage, weekend rate, and public holiday rate provided
• Positions and wages can be negotiated based on individual abilities

Positions Available:

• Cooks (Culinary students or chefs)
• Kitchen Assistants / Kitchen Hands

We offer full-time, part-time, and casual positions.

Juniors – Casual positions are welcome.
(We can adjust your working hours to not interfere with your studies.)

Operating Hours

• 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (Last order at 2:30 pm) [Lunch service will start in November]
• 5:00 pm – 12:30 am (Last order at 11:00 pm)

Kitchen Working Hours:

• 3:00 pm – 12:00 am: Working hours can be adjusted.
• Closing time may be extended.
