SŌKO Japanese Canteen is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time or Part-time Manager for our Japanese takeaway/grocery in Rowville.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the premises
• Liaise with Management
• Create and manage staff rosters
• Engage in some food preparation tasks
• Expertly craft and serve coffee
• Conduct staff training sessions
• Maintain effective stock control

Working Hours:

Full-time or Part-time work hours between early morning to late afternoon Monday to Saturday

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar management role is advantageous
• A great positive, can do attitude
• Coffee making skills an advantage
• Proficiency in Japanese language is a plus
• At least 2 years supervisory experience
• Able to commute to Rowville, located about 1 hour by public transport or 30-40 minutes by car from Melbourne CBD
• Regrettably, not suitable for working holiday visas
