About the Role:
This is a dual-position role that involves working both in the kitchen and on the retail floor. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchenhand experience and an interest in Japanese cuisine and ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and kitchen clean-up
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Stocking shelves and managing inventory
- Serving customers and operating the register
- Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Work schedule: 3–4 days per week between Tuesday and Sunday.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a kitchenhand, retail assistant, or restaurant all-rounder preferred
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Interest in Japanese food and culture is a big plus
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Able to commit for at least 6 months – long-term availability preferred
- Able to speak beginner level of Japanese
- Must hold a RSA certificate
