JFT Japan Foods Trading Pty Ltd is a growing import and distribution company specialising in premium Japanese food, supplying restaurants, supermarkets, and retailers across Melbourne. We are seeking a reliable, organised Dispatch Assistant to help ensure smooth, on-time deliveries to our customers.  

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and allocating daily delivery schedules and routes
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are ready for dispatch
• Track deliveries and resolve delays or issues
• Communicate with customers and drivers for accurate, on-time deliveries
• Maintain dispatch records and reports

Requirements

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transport coordination (Preferred)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Clear communication skills (English essential; Japanese an advantage)
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, Scheduling software)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Melbourne suburbs and roads is an advantage
