🍣 We’re Hiring at Sushi Mura – QUT Kelvin Grove Branch!

Located inside the university campus food court, our store is open only on weekdays (Mon–Fri), and closes before evening hours. This makes it a perfect job for those who want to enjoy their evenings for hobbies or plan to work two jobs by splitting weekdays and weekends.

🥢 Position 1: Sushi Roll Maker (1 person)

– Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:00–14:30 (30-minute break)  

– Hourly Rate: $26.55 (based on Fast Food Industry Award)  

– Main Duties: Making sushi rolls, preparing sauces, handling ingredients, cleaning  

This is the key position responsible for making our main menu item—sushi rolls. We’re looking for someone responsible and reliable. Experience is preferred, but not required. If you’re quick to learn and good with your hands, we’ll teach you everything from scratch!

🔪 Position 2: Kitchen Assistant (Male, 1 person)

– Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 09:00–16:00 (30-minute break)  

– Hourly Rate: $26.55 (based on Fast Food Industry Award)  

– Main Duties: Ingredient prep, cooking, dishwashing, cleaning  

We need a physically fit male staff member to assist with all kitchen tasks. You’ll be working alongside our two main chefs, mostly supporting them. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in cooking and looking to learn from the ground up.
