Key Responsibilities

• Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:45 pm (4–5 hours per day, approx. 3 days per week)
• Prepare simple food items and assist with general kitchen duties
• Support the setup and smooth running of the coffee/drinks section (equipment, supplies, and organisation)
• Make quality coffee and beverages with care and consistency
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service, creating a welcoming experience for guests
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with general cleaning, organisation, and food safety practices

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality
• Basic English communication skills
• Enthusiasm for Japanese food and culture
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Coffee-making skills using an espresso machine (preferred but not essential)
• Japanese language skills or ability to explain Japanese grocery products (a bonus!)
• Availability to commit for at least 1 year
• Full working rights in Australia (Citizen, PR, or visa with unlimited work rights)
