We are JAPAN FOODS TRADING, a Japanese food import and wholesale company with over 40 years of history in Victoria. We are currently seeking a Fish cutter / Fish filleter for our central kitchen, located at our warehouse.

Position:
Fish cutter / Fish filleter (Full-time / Part-time / Casual)

Working Hours:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Available 2–3 days a week, Monday to Friday)

Job Description:

• Main duties include filleting and preparing fish
• General kitchen duties as required

Requirements:

• Able to fillet fish and prepare sashimi or sushi-grade cuts (Experience is required)
• Good knife skills and ability to maintain knives properly
• Able to work cooperatively with team members
• Understand and follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible working schedule of about 2-3 days per week between Monday to Friday
• English proficiency – Able to communicate effectively in daily conversations and during work
• Hardworking and diligent
• Must have full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, student, or working holiday visa, etc.)
• MUST be able to work for at least a year
• MUST be able to commute to Rowville, located about 1 hour by public transport or 30-40 minutes by car from Melbourne CBD
