Front Desk / Guest Services Receptionist
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, communicates confidently with guests, and is comfortable working independently, including during quieter periods.
The role
Part-time: 3-4 days a week.
Front desk and guest services in a serviced apartment environment
Shifts are typically 6–8 hours
Convenient location close to train, bus and major shopping centre, approx. 4km from Brisbane CBD
Key responsibilities
Guest check-in and check-out, and day-to-day front desk operations
Handling phone, email and online booking enquiries
Invoicing, payments and basic administrative tasks
Coordinating maintenance and housekeeping requests
Following property policies and procedures
Maintaining a professional, friendly and helpful demeanour.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Clear, confident spoken English suitable for guest-facing communication
A friendly, professional manner and strong customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised and use good judgement
Strong time management and organisational skills
High attention to detail
A proactive, reliable and responsible attitude
Experience
Experience in hotels, motels, serviced apartments or short-term accommodation is highly regarded. We use GuestPoint PMS.
