Pay
Starting from $35.15 per hour (based on experience; negotiable at interview).
• Pay will be in accordance with applicable Australian workplace laws and any relevant Award/Agreement.
• Superannuation will be paid where required by law.
• Penalty rates may apply for weekends/public holidays (where applicable).

Duties
• Prepare and produce sushi and sashimi to a high standard (nigiri, sashimi, rolls, etc.)
• Fillet and slice fish and seafood safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent portioning and presentation
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and temperature control in line with Australian standards
• Ensure quality control, freshness, and stock rotation (FIFO), and minimise waste
• Keep the sushi station clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service
• Assist with prep and other kitchen tasks as required
Requirements
• Must have the right to work in Australia
• Sushi chef / kitchen experience is preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Reliable, well-presented, and a team player
