JFT Japan Foods Trading Pty. Ltd. is one of the oldest and largest Japanese food importers and distributors in Victoria, located in Rowville.
SOKO is searching for a versatile individual to join our team as a All Rounder (Customer Service & Barista & Kitchen Hand). This role goes beyond crafting excellent coffee and providing outstanding customer service, it involves assisting in setting up the coffee / drink section, training staff, and contributing to the success of our new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monday to Friday 7:00am – 15:00pm / 2- 3 days per week
- Assist in the setup of the coffee / drink section, ensuring equipment is installed, supplies are stocked, and the area is organized for efficient service
- Craft high-quality coffee and other beverages with precision and care, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and attending to their needs promptly
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during the initial stages of the business launch
- Assist with general tasks related to food preparation, cleanliness, and organization as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on coffee preparation, customer service, and staff training over 1 year experience is required
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the setup and success of a new business
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work between 9:00am – 15:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Proficiency in the Japanese language is a plus but not required
- Able to explain about the Japanese Glossary products is PLUS！
- Able to work longer than 1 year
- RSA Certificate
- Full working rights in Australia – Valid Australian PR Status (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa with unlimited working rights)
