We’re a small brunch café in Hendra(near Brisbane airport) looking for a kitchen chef
(sole kitchen role)
Work days are Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (casual position).
Pay is competitive and will be based on your experience and skills.
The café isn’t super busy, but a big part of the role is keeping the cabinet stocked (sandwiches, wraps, etc.), doing prep, and managing the kitchen.
Basic baking skills (like muffins) would be a big plus, and we occasionally do catering as well.
Since you’ll be running the kitchen on your own, we’re looking for someone with solid experience — at least 2 years in a brunch cafe or restaurant kitchen, and ideally some menu planning experience.
You’ll also need to be comfortable communicating in English with FOH staff, and we’d love someone who’s looking for a long-term role.
