If you are a QLD resident and a permanent resident or citizen of Australia who is currently looking for a job or currently works less than 15 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to obtain Certificate lll in Individual Support, which allows you to work as a support worker for both elder and disabled care with a grant from the QLD Government Skilling QLD. If you want to work in the nursing care industry in Australia or want to try a new career, you can get a qualification at no co-payment.

Hope College is housed in the Hope Church building in Varsity Lakes and has been training caregivers who can care for clients and families for more than 20 years. Many of our graduates are active in various fields such as the nursing care industry, medical care, and youth work.

Class period: Approximately 2023 weeks

– Interested in nursing care and support work (daily life support for people with disabilities, the elderly, There is no resistance to showering and toilet assistance.)

In addition to classes at the college, nursing care practice (140-160 hours) is available at nursing homes. Many students get job offers at their training sites and get a job. Police check and NDIS screening (including Blue Card) are required before taking the course. First Aid qualifications can also be obtained in class, so it is possible to work as a caregiver or support worker immediately after graduation.
