We are currently seeking a full time Full time Sushi Chef/Sushi Sous chef and Experienced Sushi Roll Maker to work with our store team in CBD Melbourne or inner suburb .
Our venue provides quality food to promote healthy eating habits.
The position is full time and the successful candidate will have a passion for hospitality.
Key responsibilities:
Sushi Chef/Sushi Sous chef
Lead an environment committed to food safety and workplace safety.
Always striving for continuous improvement.
Train new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu.
Direct food preparation, order and purchase supplies and take stock inventories.
Communicate with the head office regarding any issues.
What you will need:
Sushi Chef/Sushi Sous chef
Great communication skills and an ability to lead a diverse range of employees.
At least 3 years experience in the Japanese Restaurant/Take away Shop.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Visa status and visa end date.
Sushi Roll Maker
At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Most have availability on Monday to Friday
About the Benefits
Fulltime Sushi Chef/Sushi Sous chef
( casual contract is also available)
-Head Chef: $80-90K + Super
-Sous Chef: $70-80 + Super
Sushi Roll Maker
Casual-$30.91 + 11% super
